Physiotherapy Assistant & Admin Support
Andrea graduated from Portsmouth University in 2001 with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Geography. She first worked as a Personal Assistant & Office Manager in a Surveyor`s company for a year before moving on to the Learning and Skills Council National Office. Here she held a number of roles including; Support and Liaison Officer organising national conferences, Programme Assistant to the Equality & Diversity Team, Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive, and Executive Assistant to the National Skills Director. Wanting to work more in a people-focused role, she then moved on to work for Pertemps People Development Group for 5 years as an Employment Coach, supporting long term unemployed people as well as single parents.
Following the birth of her second child, she left Pertemps and found her current position with Therapy Fusion Ltd. Andrea has since trained as a Physiotherapy Assistant and works predominantly in assisting and supporting the physiotherapists and the patients who have neurological conditions (brain and spinal cord injury or illness) during their rehabilitation.
Andrea is currently undertaking a Level 3 course in Anatomy and Physiology as well as beginning a Level 3 course in Swedish massage at Solihull College.
